So much is going on with me this December. Three new releases (The 1000 Doors of Midnight Manor anthology, 12 Days of Christmas 2023 anthology, Smoke) and a re-release on 1 January (Her Billionaire’s Bargain). I am having fun and trying to keep it all straight. LOL. Well, now I have added something else to the mix. I have always enjoyed chatting with readers. It is how I originally got readers to know me by hosting virtual and in-person events to talk with them about my books. So, I want to get back to that. I feel that Kindle Vella was the best outlet to return me back to my first love.
I am old enough to remember AOL chat. I loved going in and meeting new people and talking with them about books. At the time, none of my friends were romance readers, so finding others with that same need to chat was a bonus. So, following the advice of a sage author friend, I have started my own Discord server. Currently, the main channel is my recently released Kindle VElla SMOKE. I will add more channels later. I am having a ‘housewarming’ party on December 9 at 8:00 PM. This will be after the 3rd free episode goes live on KV, giving readers time to read it. I will be able to get feedback from the readers.
