Now that you can see the covers, you can understand why the cover artist blew my mind when she showed them to me. I just had to have them and knew they represented my four heroes in this series I have spent so much time writing. In my reader group on FB the SMOKIES saw a few different images as they were reading episodes of the book, when I got to these for men, they went crazy. So, when I sent them to my cover artist and said I want a discreet cover. She said, no. These men needed to shine.
I am glad I listened to her because I just sigh with pleasure every time I pull them up. I seriously keep thinking I want to get them blown up to movie poster size and put them up on my bedroom wall across from my bed. LOL.
Insane?

A labor of love! For over a year and half, I have been working on my four-book romantasy. If you have been following my blogs on my website, you have seen the episodes I have been posting for readers as I wrote the story. Now, the time people have been waiting for SMOKE will be on sale soon. Very soon.
Presenting the cover for Book 1.
This week was my spring break at work, and I had the house to myself, so I spent a lot of my time writing. I am pushing forward toward the end of this serial, and it was helpful to give the readers a chunk of goodness. Here are the episodes that I wrote. If you have moved from following the SMOKE serial on KV to following it on REAM, you will be a happy camper with my production this week. Most of the episodes are long.

Episode 96 of SMOKE is now available on REAM. So, much of the story has been building to this episode. I am excited to bring you this scene. In the beginning, when this story was still active on KV, some of the readers read an episode and, in the comments, shared how they were hoping for a certain thing. I set in motion, even though I don’t think the readers realized some hints I dropped in the story to show I was gearing up to give them a certain scene, but I did. Now, I have. Well, I have to finish the scene in the next episode, but I hope the readers enjoy it.
So, happy reading. If you are watching the posts but holding out for the book editions, I am getting through what will be book 4 as fast as I can between work, family events, and time. I am still pressing towards release this spring. Covers are being created, artwork for those looking for a bundle and deluxe pack is being designed, promo videos are being developed, and so much more.
For those of you who are simply happy as a kitten with a ball of foil on the kitchen floor, keep reading SMOKE one episode/chapter at a time until it ends in spring. I will keep serving them up. No worries. I will not stop posting before the end and suddenly make readers buy the book to get the conclusion. But, some readers are waiting for book 4 by choice, which is great, too.
